Ladies I think after
reading this article you should think twice about dating men who drive Audi’s
and in the unfortunate scenario you are married to a guy who drives an Audi, don’t
burn the car! Just ask your loving hubby to get a French car. According to a survey done by a website called Illicit Encounters, which polled its 750,000 members, Audi owners were
found to be the most likely drivers to have an affair, with 22.2% of them
saying they cheated. Premium car brands dominate the unusual ranking, with BMW
drivers taking second place as most adulterous drivers (13.8 percent), followed
by Mercedes-Benz (8.7 percent) and Volvo (7.6 percent).
The best ranked (or
worst, depends on one’s point of view) non-premium brand is Volkswagen, which
claimed fifth place (5.7 percent).
The survey also
found that owners of French cars were the least likely to cheat on their
partners. Only 0.4 percent of Peugeot drivers said they have had an affair,
followed by Renault drivers (0.5 percent), Rover (0.5 percent), Skoda (1.1
percent) and Hyundai (1.6 percent).
“Cars can reveal a
lot about their owners. All the cars in the top five represent our members -
they are typically successful, motivated, high-achievers who are less likely to
settle for something they find unsatisfying, be it a car or a
relationship," said Mike Taylor from the Illicit Encounters website.
Last year, BMW
drivers were found the most likely to have an affair.
